In 1996, the company hosted its first show “Agarrate Catalina” and created “Pa que bailen los muchachos”.
Both were presented at La Viruta and at the Centro Cultural San Martin.
During these years the company held exhibitions in different events and stages.
The place
Our company La Viruta Tango S.R.L has given, since 1994, a complete service consisting of lessons, dance and shows at the largest and most well-known original Argentine milonga.
We offer private lessons with experienced bilingual teachers as well as the opportunity to participate in our group lessons from Wednesday to Sunday, where you can learn the dance, step by step, improve it, and interact with other people.
You will get the feeling of a perfect mixture of music, dance, images and the passion that this unique experience involves.
Our big space in such an important area as Palermo Soho has all that it takes, to meet the most varied needs, air conditioned ballroom and homemade meals.
Another advantage is our easy access and a lot of means of transport to get here.
La Viruta is located at 1366, Armenia St.,just one block from Cordoba Avenue, in a shopping area, and it is the biggest milonga in Argentina.
We offer salsa, milonga and rock and roll lessons besides the traditional tango lessons, and our school is one of the biggest in the world.
Here the people come to learn how to dance having fun in a relaxing and friendly environment, and the public is very heterogeneous.
